Deals Before Meals

Kudu, Saudi Arabia’s leading fast-food chain, faced the challenge of launching its Loyalty Program 35 years late. In a world where loyalty programs are often slow and forgettable, Kudu needed to ensure its program didn’t meet the same fate. Enter the ‘Deals before Meals’ campaign—a bold move to give customers instant rewards before they even ordered.

By hiding codes in an engaging film and across digital and social platforms, Kudu turned the reward process into a fun, fast-paced experience that captured the attention of even the most ad-resistant audience. The campaign led to a 40% increase in app downloads, a 30% rise in app orders, and an 85% ad completion rate. With this innovative approach, Kudu didn’t just launch a loyalty program; it redefined what fast food and fast rewards mean in 2024.

The top left has the text "DEALS BEFORE MEALS" with coins falling around. The right side displays two mock smartphones screening the app interface: the first shows a code, the second allows claiming a burger reward. An informational message at the bottom explains the codes are hidden in the film and should be found and dropped into the app.
